  • “My husband and I stayed for one night at the Royal Hotel. It is a Georgian building in a marvellous seafront position and the building must been redecorated recently. Our room was spacious & well furnished and the evening meal was very nice with quality wine. We really enjoyed the Elvis themed evening with a good impersonator of the King himself. ”

It was refreshing to find a traditional pub, with character and not tainted by a big chain!   • “We had our first meal at Mojacs in Cowes yesterday. Attractive little venue, friendly & customer focused staff. We ate 3 courses from the set menu which had a decent bottle of wine included and we had two coffees. The food was excellent... hearty English gastro style? I'm not an expert ... I don't know what you'd call it! We were pleasantly full and satisfied by the time we left. Best of all, the total bill was £44. Unbelievable for what we'd just consumed. We are definitely going back.”
