  • “What a find this little gem of a village pub restaurant is in Offchurch, really intimate dining yet is great for private functions, as we discovered a couple of weeks ago for the Morgan Annual Dinner. Great bar atmosphere too, but the food is seriously good ... great fish menu, steaks plus a few really unusual French dishes. The confit of duck was just to die for and I like the idea that you can buy wine by the glass, pichet or bottle too. A great place for al fresco dining with its fab terrace furniture ... the staff are fun too and make me feel young! A***********”

  • “Great place to eat locally, simple menu (always fits on 1 page) but always good fresh local produce cooked in a simple but interesting way. Good theme nights with steak night , oysters etc and once in a while a great carnivores club night that has tutored wines as an extra. I go at lunch where possible and always enjoy the service, good garden with plenty of room also.”
