Description
The Trappers Inn and Jackson’s Restaurant is a traditional family run bar and restaurant that is approaching its forty-fourth year in operation. The family have developed the business over this time, keeping their core values the same; being truly passionate when it comes to locally sourced, seasonal food and service in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The menus follow the seasons and suppliers range from local artisan master butchers to local fishermen and trawlermen and vegetable suppliers.
The establishment is situated on the Tuam Road, Castlegar just minutes from Galway city centre and caters for a diverse group of clientele from the business parks, local communities and passing trade.
Food is available throughout the day from 8am-9pm Monday to Saturday (9am-6pm Sunday) and includes breakfast, carvary, gourmet sandwiches and evening menu.
Live music is performed and enjoyed every weekend. Whether it’s for a quiet pint or lively chat and banter, you can be sure to have it at The Trappers.
