Description

The Rye Parish Church of St Mary in Rye, East Sussex is a 900 year old church with the oldest working church tower clock in the country. It is possible to climb the tower to view the clock working, and for the magnificent views of the town and Romney Marsh. Stained glass windows include two donated by E.F. Benson and one designed by Burne-Jones. St Mary’s is open every day except for Christmas Day from 9.15am - 4.30pm (winter) or 5.30pm (summer).
