Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
The Manor House Hotel, an early 18th century Gothic manor house that stands in 20 acres of secluded grounds with delightful views over Studland Bay, provides elegant and comfortable accommodation for guests. Despite its ‘olde worlde’ charm and original features, the hotel offers the latest conveniences and a top-notch service. The baronial-feel of the oak-panelled dining room, with open fireplace and dark wood furniture, the adjoining bright conservatory, and the comfortable, country style lounge all benefit from sea views. The en suite bedrooms are charming, light and spacious with period furnishings and a peaceful atmosphere, many of which have sea or garden views. There are 5 four-poster suites.
The Manor House Hotel boasts a talented Head Chef (and of course his staff) who use mainly local produce to provide fine freshly prepared meals, at country prices. Using the finest of ingredients, the restaurant is renowned for its excellent menu, fresh preparation and superb service, having won awards and recognition on more than a few occasions. A superb 4 course dinner is included within the room rate and the Table d’hote menu changes daily, featuring fresh local produce, including vegetarian options and locally caught fish. There are also a wide range of hot and cold dishes is available daily from the bar and a 3-course Table d’hote lunch is available every Sunday (booking necessary). The Manor House Hotel has a delicious Bar Menu and their traditional Dorset cream teas can be taken on the lawns overlooking the Bay (weather permitting) or in front of a log fire in the cosy lounge.
