Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
Repute to be Staffordshire’s oldest licensed premises, this pretty thatched 14th century country pub, parts of which are thought to date back to 1190, maintains its historic charm. The cosy interior featuring heavy carved beams, a planked ceiling, exposed brick walls, old oak furnishings, open fires and intimate alcoves only enhance the character of The Holly Bush Inn. A 15th century wood-fired oven is situated in the beer garden and in the summer months, customers can enjoy wood-baked pizzas, washed down with a cool glass of Pimms or a pitcher of chilled Grolsch. And you don’t even have to go into the pub!
The Holly Bush Inn offers a range of traditionally cooked British food, with fresh ingredients many of which are sourced locally. Sample the delights of their homemade Steak & Kidney Pudding or dip into their Slow Cooked Venison Casserole. Treat yourself with one of their truly scrumptious desserts or try their Holly Bush Cheesboard full of a variety of speciality cheeses. If its a light snack or lunch you are after, then there is a range of hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes and ‘lite bites’ on offer to tickle your tastebuds. There is also a fine selection of traditional ales and great wines to complement any meal.
