Description

The doors of the restored historic stables are complete with resident horses and a Victorian groom. This experience, together with Audley End’s Service Wing including kitchen, scullery, pantry and laundries, gives you an insight into Victorian life below stairs and is very popular with old and young.

The house itself is magnificent with elaborately decorated rooms and a stunning art collection.  Take time to explore the beautiful 19th century parterre and the magnificent pastoral parkland designed by “Capability” Brown. Don’t miss the walled kitchen garden with its lovely glasshouses and vinery.
