The White Hart Royal Hotel, conveniently located in the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh at the head of the beautiful Evenlode Valley in the English Cotswolds, was once a coaching inn; its reputation being enhanced when King Charles I sheltered at the inn following the Battle of Marston Moor on 2nd July 1644 - a copy of the King’s unpaid bill is commemorated on a plaque in the entrance lobby. Having been carefully resorted and refurbished, retaining and utilising the original features throughout, this beautiful Grade II listed building oozes charm and warmth, and celebrates four centuries of the hotel’s evolution.
