Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
Set in the beautiful, rolling North Wales countryside, The Groes Inn is a wonderful example of a traditional British Inn, blending the warm welcome of a local pub with delicious food, excellent service and a comfortable bed. Claiming to be the first licensed house in Wales, ‘Taverne-y-Groes’ (by the cross) boasts a history unbroken since 1573 and is now family-run by Dawn Humphreys and her son, Justin. The building, which enjoys splendid views of the Conwy estuary, has an abundance of 16th- and 17th century interior timberwork including low-ceilinged rooms that have been extended to include a formal dining room and a conservatory. The individually decorated and well-appointed en suite bedrooms are located in the modern building next door where you can expect cto find omfortable sofas, bathrooms with bidets, and stunning views across fields to Snowdonia.
