Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
Set in the picturesque fishing village of Anstruther, in the East Neuk of Fife, The Spindrift guest house is an imposing stone-built Victorian home with many original internal features, carefully restored and offering 8 en suite bedrooms.
The residents lounge contains a well-stocked honesty bar with a variety of malt whiskies, liqueurs and Scottish beers. The Spindrift prides itself in using fresh local produce for breakfasts and evening meals and has been accredited with an Eat Scotland Silver Award for Home Cooking, and 4 Star Guest House, Gold Award from Visit Scotland .
A unique feature of the house is the Captain’s Cabin on the top floor. This was the special domain of the original owner of the house, a Tea Clipper Captain called John Smith, who made the room a replica of a ship master’s cabin. The room is especially popular with couples of all ages providing attractive, comfortable and particularly memorable accommodation.
