Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
The Plough Inn, situated in Wingfield, Bedfordshire, is a beautiful 350 year old thatched, country pub retaining many original features, such as low ceilings, oak beams and a roaring open fire. Roger and Theresa have been running The Plough Inn since 2005 and certainly have the charm and charisma to match this stunning building. The kitchen is run by the head chef and Theresa, mixing traditional home cooked pub classics with more experimental dishes, all offered at superb value for money.
There is an excellent range of real ales on offer and normally one guest beer to sample. The landlords are the proud holders of the Fullers Master Cellarman Award and the pub is Cask Marque registered.
With a large enclosed garden, The Plough Inn makes the ideal destination for enjoying the excellent drinks and food on offer in the summer months, while offering a cosy roaring fire inside for the cooler months. The conservatory area is also available for private hire and can seat up to 24 people.
The perfect choice for a trip to a traditional country pub, Roger and Theresa at The Plough Inn will ensure you feel at home in their beautifully maintained pub. Why not visit them to try their excellent lunch time menu - great value at only £4.95 for a main course or £6.95 with a starter.
