The New Walk Brasserie is the very latest foodie offering in Totnes and comes with a great pedigree.
Matt and Delphine Buzzo opened this fantastic cafe bar and restaurant off the back of the ever-popular and enourmously successful Waterside Bistro. South Devon Restaurants is the family-run business behind both restaurants on The Plains, led by head chef and proprietor, Matt, and his wife, Delphine, oversees front of house. Together with their team they have built up a good reputation for fresh, local produce and fish served at the most reasonable prices possible. Matt’s career started in Devon followed by ten years working in top hotels and restaurants, including Scotts of Mayfair, the fish restaurant, Livebait and the Boulevard Brasserie in Covent Garden. The couple returned to Devon seven years ago to open The Waterside Bistro, alongside the River Dart in the town centre.
Open for gourmet coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, 7 days a week. Expect fresh, inspiring menus full of local produce, enjoyed in comfortable, modern surroundings.
Look out for an extensive wine list of some 60 bins, 30 by the glass, and a chance to enjoy your favourite glass of red prior to dinner!
