Les Routiers partners with the SRA!
Les Routiers UK & Ireland has taken another major step towards making sustainability mainstream in restaurants by signing a partnership deal with The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
Situated at Little Canfield, close to Stansted Airport, The Lion & Lamb provides the perfect venue to savour some first class food in an idyllic traditional setting. Owner, Mike Shields, and his team would like to invite you to sample some of their superb meals in the delightful restaurant which is open 7 days a week.
Using his many talents, Mike is able to offer high-quality food and wine with a professional, but relaxed friendly service. Running alongside the restaurant, the bar is an ideal place to relax, unwind and socialise. The decor is classic traditional English with beautifully old, blackened oak beams stretching out across the ceilings. In winter, you can cosy up to the huge fireplace at the end of the main bar and enjoy the kind of atmosphere you only find in a traditional English pub. The bar offers a wide selection of quality premium beers & spirits. For those who do not have time to dine in the restaurant, there is an array of delectable and light bar snacks served throughout the day.
With it’s country charm, The Lion & Lamb is a firm favourite with diners for both business and pleasure, offering a public dining area or a self-contained room comfortably seating 30 to 35 diners with direct access to the private patio area and gardens. Families with children are welcome, and there is beer garden to the rear of the Restaurant & Bar with ample seating on wooden bench patio suites. On-site parking is available.
The Lion and Lamb offers outside catering for parties and special occasions. They can design a bespoke menu to suit all budgets and tastes.
