Since opening in December 2010, Le Bistro des Amis has pulled off something of a coup d’état in this famous Yorkshire Dales market town, quickly ranking among la crème de la crème and fast becoming a cause célèbre for both local folk and visitors.

You’ll find this fabulous eatery at the top of town, set on a corner where Jerry Croft meets the High Street, with easy access to the main High Street car park next to the town hall. They welcome one and all – singles, couples, families and parties – to come and enjoy their exquisite Continental menu of mussels, confit duck leg, beef bourguignon and much more. Their pièce de résistance has to be Les Specialities du Jour, an exclusive fish menu featuring the best of the daily catch from Fleetwood. Spoilt for choice?

Well, there’s more: the Menu du Jour, available at lunchtimes and early evenings, is a great value-for-money option.
Whatever you choose, you can rest assured your meal will contain as many locally sourced components as possible. Their whole raison d’être here is to provide a casual, relaxed and informal place to dine, with the main focus on the quality of food, wine and service.
