• “What a find this little gem of a village pub restaurant is in Offchurch, really intimate dining yet is great for private functions, as we discovered a couple of weeks ago for the Morgan Annual Dinner. Great bar atmosphere too, but the food is seriously good ... great fish menu, steaks plus a few really unusual French dishes. The confit of duck was just to die for and I like the idea that you can buy wine by the glass, pichet or bottle too. A great place for al fresco dining with its fab terrace furniture ... the staff are fun too and make me feel young! A***********”

• “Wow! What an amazing place The Moorings has become since its stylish designer makeover. Wonderful food, all freshly prepared and such a tempting choice on both the main and specials menu. Great staff, great service and a terrific find, what Leamington and Warwick has needed for a seriously long time ... my third visit today in two weeks! Good value too and great place for business lunches, as well as intimate dining. Can't wait for the summer al fresco dining by the canal! Keep it up! (The souffle starter is a complete winner and I've never tasted such a good steak before!)”

• “We had our first meal at Mojacs in Cowes yesterday. Attractive little venue, friendly & customer focused staff. We ate 3 courses from the set menu which had a decent bottle of wine included and we had two coffees. The food was excellent... hearty English gastro style? I'm not an expert ... I don't know what you'd call it! We were pleasantly full and satisfied by the time we left. Best of all, the total bill was £44. Unbelievable for what we'd just consumed. We are definitely going back.”
