  • “Great place to eat locally, simple menu (always fits on 1 page) but always good fresh local produce cooked in a simple but interesting way. Good theme nights with steak night , oysters etc and once in a while a great carnivores club night that has tutored wines as an extra. I go at lunch where possible and always enjoy the service, good garden with plenty of room also.”

  • “We managed to get the Mariantoinette suite for the length of my cuisine's wedding. Right from the start the staff were friendly and attentive making us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. The original decor was beautifully kept and complemented with stylish furniture. Our room was huge and lovely with an enourmous bed. My girlfriend especially loved the giant free standing bath, the lovely big fluffy towels and bath robes. Everyone in the family was pleased with this hotel and I can only recommend it for any wedding ceremonies or other celebrations. ”

  • “My husband and I stayed for one night at the Royal Hotel. It is a Georgian building in a marvellous seafront position and the building must been redecorated recently. Our room was spacious & well furnished and the evening meal was very nice with quality wine. We really enjoyed the Elvis themed evening with a good impersonator of the King himself. ”
